There are a minimum of three appointments required when having alterations or redesign work done.. The only time two fittings are adequate are when only slight adjustments such as a bustle are needed. A wedding dress for most woman will be the most expensive piece of clothing that will be purchased in their lifetime. I know the importance of making you look and feel amazing for your special day. I do not believe in just rushing through. I am focused on giving you my very best. With each project hours of my time are invested to ensure every detail is taken care of that is humanly possible..

Ideally each fitting is scheduled at approximately the same date each month as the wedding when working on the upper body of the dress. This is due to a woman's monthly cycle. A womans monthly cycle can dramatically change the sizing of a her body. It is the attempt for consistency that makes meeting at the same time each month as the wedding date helpful. This would mean appointments would be scheduled 3 to 4 months before the wedding. All final adjustments,and finish work are done the month prior to the wedding to insure a fabulous fit. This is not always possible due to shipping delays, and rushed weddings. It is also important to consider the special needs a woman may have such as pregnancy, illness, weight loss, or a rush. In this case special arrangements are made to best meet the needs of the bride.

The winter months are much less busy than the spring and summer months it is because of this that if you already have your dress, and do not plan a dramatic weight change you can begin the alteration process. If you are wanting a redesign it is great to have lots of time to work on your project.
